Civilians
It's not all about the fighting!!
Although most of our male members, and some female, do choose to take part in combat or archery, it's not compulsory. We've even been known (shock!) to do events that involve no combat displays at all.
Seriously, we encourage our members to develop and study roles and skills that add to our encampment and living history, be it textile based (spinning, weaving, embroidery, narl binding, dyeing, etc), the clergy and monastic life, brewing, coin making, hat making, music and dance, or even just playing board games.
A gallery of non-military... (with maybe just a little posing).
