Arms and Armour
Even at events involving lots of fighting or skills shows, the armour doesn't stay on all day, and the weapons don't stay in hand all day. (Well, apart from notable exceptions to the rule...)
When it's not being worn armour (and weaponry) is often stored in our armoury during the day, from where talks are given, and people are encouraged ask questions about different pieces - and, when it's safe to do so, to try pieces on.
Of course, there are also repairs to be carried out, and cleaning to be done, ready for the next time they are needed.
